Quentin Barbosa

Associate

Quentin Barbosa is an associate attorney at Olson Remcho. Mr. Barbosa advises clients on political and government law matters.

Mr. Barbosa holds a J.D. (with Great Distinction) from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and graduated summa cum laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a B.A. in political science. In law school, Mr. Barbosa served as Chief Managing Editor of the University of the Pacific Law Review, and co-authored articles analyzing 2020 California ballot initiatives for McGeorge’s California Initiative Review. He was recognized as Valedictorian of his class and was also awarded the Outstanding Graduating Senior Award by the McGeorge faculty for his scholarship and academic achievement.

During law school, he interned at the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, analyzing bills for the Governor’s review and proposing alternative legislative language to address some of California’s most complex policy issues. On the legal side, Mr. Barbosa assisted the agency’s General Counsel and became  familiar with California ethics and open meetings laws.  After law school, Mr. Barbosa externed for the Honorable Consuelo M. Callahan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. 

He was admitted to the California Bar in November 2022.
