Eric Lee is a counsel at Olson Remcho, where he advises on government and political law matters. He also litigates election law, public policy, and constitutional cases for public and private clients.
Before joining the firm, he worked at the New York City Law Department as a senior appellate lawyer and legal adviser. He supervised and served as lead counsel on scores of civil and constitutional appeals, including some of the City’s most significant business, zoning, and regulatory disputes. He argued over 40 appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the New York Court of Appeals, and New York’s intermediate appellate courts. He also worked with the mayor’s office, various agencies, and City Council on a wide array of issues, ranging from social services, revenue, and transportation to health care, appointments, and election law. He advised on rulemaking, state and local legislation, executive orders, litigation strategy, legal agreements, and policy initiatives. In 2022, the New York City Bar Association recognized him for outstanding achievement and service to the City.
Mr. Lee began his legal career at Arnold & Porter LLP representing clients in commercial litigation in state and federal courts. He clerked for the Honorable Denise J. Casper of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
He is a graduate of Harvard University and Boston University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in California and New York.
