Ariya Haghighat

Associate

Ariya Haghighat is an associate attorney at Olson Remcho. Mr. Haghighat represents clients in litigation over election law, public policy, and constitutional issues. Mr. Haghighat also advises clients on political and government law matters.

In law school, Mr. Haghighat focused on civil rights law and policy. He participated in the UC Davis Civil Rights Clinic, providing legal support and representation for the civil rights of prisoners and other indigent clients, including arguing in front of the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Haghighat was a law clerk for American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California, as well as for the Honorable Judge Troy L. Nunley of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Haghighat spent time at the Center for American Progress, where he researched federal judicial nominees and advocated for judicial transparency. Mr. Haghighat has interned for the San Bernadino Public Defenders office and for California Assembly Member Sabrina Cervantes.

Mr. Haghighat is a graduate of University of California, Riverside (B.A.) and University of California, Davis School of Law (J.D.). He was admitted to the California Bar in November 2023.
