Anna Myles-Primakoff

Counsel

Anna Myles-Primakoff is counsel at Olson Remcho, where she is a member of the general counsel practice group and advises on government and nonprofit law.

She most recently worked as Of Counsel at NEO Law Group where she provided advice on tax and corporate governance issues to nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations. She also previously served as General Counsel to IDinsight, a global advisory, data analytics, and research organization that aims to transform the way the social sector innovates, learns, and improves. At IDinsight, Ms. Myles-Primakoff advised on governance, intellectual property, employment law, tax and compliance issues. She also led the organization’s internal risk management and transactional work and managed outside counsel in IDinsight countries of operation.

Her prior professional experience includes both international and U.S experience in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining IDinsight, Ms. Myles-Primakoff worked as Legal Director at One Acre Fund, a global non-profit social enterprise providing funding and training to over a million smallholder farmer families in lower income countries to support them increase their food security and assist them achieve a more sustainable livelihood. At One Acre Fund, Anna led a comprehensive portfolio of legal, compliance, employment law, government relations, and corporate structure matters across more than 10 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia during a period in which the organization doubled in size.

Ms. Myles-Primakoff also has experience working in legal services. After graduating from law school, she worked as a Staff Attorney at the Children’s Law Center in Washington D.C., where she successfully litigated adoption and guardianship cases placing children with permanent caregivers, represented caregivers of children in foster care to obtain appropriate special education services for their children and appeared as guardian ad litem attorney for children in complex, highly contested custody and domestic violence cases. Ms. Myles-Primakoff also drafted briefs for appellate litigation and successfully argued an appellate case setting new precedent on third party custody in front of the D.C. Court of Appeals. 

Ms. Myles-Primakoff holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School, and graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. While at HLS, she participated in the Education Law Clinic and the Trauma and Policy Learning Initiative, as well as leading the Kids in the Court program. She is admitted to practice law in California and the District of Columbia (inactive).
